(V) How We Protect Your Personal Information
We take personal information security very seriously and will take all reasonably practicable measures to safeguard your data.
1. Data Security Technical Measures We adopt security safeguards consistent with industry standards, including establishing reasonable institutional regulations and security technologies, to prevent unauthorized access, use, or modification of your information, as well as to prevent data corruption or loss. We employ various encryption techniques in our network services. In certain services, for example, we use encryption technologies (like SSL) to protect your data. We encrypt stored data and isolate it using isolation technology. During the use of data (e.g., data display or data correlation), we employ data-masking technologies to enhance security. We use strict access control measures and multi-factor authentication to protect your data from unauthorized use.
2. Access Control Measures We only allow employees and partners who need to know your personal information to access it, and we have strict access control and monitoring systems in place. We also require anyone who may access your data to undertake appropriate confidentiality obligations. Failure to comply may result in legal consequences or suspension of collaboration with AIRSEEKERS Services.
3. Additional Security Measures We Take We have established data classification, data storage, and usage regulations through data management. 4. Security Reminders When communicating with third parties or purchasing goods and services from them via AIRSEEKERS Services, you may inevitably disclose your information (e.g., contact or postal address) to transaction counterparts or potential transaction counterparts. We have also developed a special emergency response policy for security incidents. In the event of a security incident, we activate our emergency plans and take measures to mitigate and resolve the issue, which may involve cessation of data breaches, conducting analyses, locating the cause, devising corrective actions, and collaborating with relevant departments for further investigation and control. If the incident poses a high risk to your rights, in accordance with legal requirements, we will promptly inform you of the basics and impact of the incident, the measures we have taken or plan to take, suggestions for self-protection and mitigation of risks, and other related information.
